News Release 14 September 2004 Siemens appoints Antenova as its antenna supply partner The innovative antenna company Antenova has just signed a partnership agreement with Siemens’ Automation and Drives Group (A&D) for the design and supply of internal antennas. Antenova’s High Dielectric Antennas (HDAs) will be integrated into a new product range that will be released by Siemens in the second quarter of 2005. Under the terms of this supply agreement Antenova will provide technical support for the integration of the antenna into the user application. Siemens who evaluated three different technologies and suppliers before selecting Antenova receives access to Antenova’s high-performing HDA technology. “We have been extremely impressed with Antenova’s technology and strong support. Their competitively priced antennas met all of our performance and selection criteria. We are very comfortable working with Antenova, who are obviously driven by technology and we look forward to a long and successful partnership”, says Theo Schlotter, Director R&D for Industrial PC, Siemens A&D. “Antenova are delighted to be selected as Siemens’ Antenna Vendor to support their product development through to 2006. The market is driving towards greater levels of integration as devices are getting smaller. The cellular and wireless explosion continues at speed with consumers driving the move towards more innovative, efficient and ergonomic products. Although the antenna is the component that makes a product wireless, historically there has been little innovation.
