Antenova wins the CEO pitch contest at the AlwaysOn
(AO) Top 100 Competition
The innovative antenna company Antenova has
just been voted the winner of the CEO Pitch contest at the AO100
competition – honouring the best in innovation.
AlwaysOn (an open source media company based
in the US) and KPMG 1Start (an emerging business practice) collaborated
to identify the 2004 AO100 and help judge the CEO Pitch hosted by
the MIT/Stanford Venture Lab. Selection was based on companies who
demonstrated leadership and innovation in two key areas; market
traction measured by revenue or customer growth and new approaches
and technologies that are likely to cause significant change to
existing markets and well-established players.
"Antenova’s CEO, Greg McCray, was
judged by a panel on opportunity, go-to-market strategy and the
overall pitch and presentation. Greg’s presentation easily
met what the judges were looking for both in content and delivery
and I was absolutely delighted when Antenova scored a record 44
points out of 45 points, making it a clear winner", says Susan
Ayers Walker, Chair, MIT/Stanford Venture Lab.
"In all three cases; innovation, market
traction and new approaches, Antenova has made incredible progress
over the last year and we are thrilled that this has been acknowledged
by AlwaysOn", says Greg McCray, CEO.
The annual AlwaysOn Innovation Summit featured
over 60 keynote-level speakers, 15 sessions, 32 CEO pitches and
two days of conversation about what is driving the next wave of
innovation.
End.
